Our BrandHistory

Wild Monkey Design was founded by Henry Perkins 2013. Initially, the goal was to produce freelance work for larger firms. We started in a basement and upgraded to our creative studio in Grand Junction, Colorado. After years of education and countless hours of experience and research, we’ve leaped to an identity design firm. This move has allowed us to fulfill all aspects of branding that our clients need to be successful.

In 2019 Wild Monkey took on its first partner in Ariel Aaron and relocated to Dallas Texas, (Time to stop being the big fish in a small pond and become … ummm, Dory?). Ariel brought a marketing and advertising focus that pushed Wild Monkey Design to a new level. Then in 2020, Wild Monkey Design became Wild Monkey as the focus shifted to branding instead of just visual design.

Our name and mascot reflect that just like the monkey we have the ability to be creative, intelligent, resourceful, and to think differently, so that we can take a business from just an idea to build a vibrant brand that matters.

Henry is an experienced Creative Director/Visual Designer with over 12 years of design and art direction. He is a sharp conceptual thinker, outstanding visual director and is a strategically focused designer with proven leadership abilities.

He is a hands-on leader with a creative approach to strategy development. With this in mind, he has a proven track record of going above and beyond for clients.

He has a very precise process that impacts design keeping ROI as his main focus. He believes in the balance of subjectivity and functionality within the creative space.

Ariel

Aaron Owner | Chief Marketing Officer

Ariel understands how to navigate the digital landscape when clients see it as a daunting task. She sees the team’s collective experience as a cultivated perspective pulling us in the direction of advertising.
